Inside Sales Loan Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our dynamic Consumer Direct Sale (CDS) team. In this role, you will guide clients through the mortgage journey, from application to closing, ensuring compliance with all regulations and providing outstanding customer service. Leads are provided. Position requires you to be at our Irvine, CA office each day, NO REMOTE.


Duties

  • Loan Officers receive leads daily
  • Connect with clients quickly via live phone transfer or internet leads
  • After determining the best course of action for the client, you will send out quote and request documents to start the loan process
  • Our experienced Processors and Underwriters will help guide borrowers until the loan has been funded, allowing our LO's to focus on new business
  • Build a pipeline of loans and obtain client referrals
  • Work in CRM throughout the day updating and texting
  • Gather and verify all necessary documentation for loan processing, including credit reports, income verification, and asset statements
  • Conduct credit analysis to determine borrower eligibility while adhering to company guidelines
  • Utilize mortgage software and other financial tools to process applications efficiently and accurately
  • Coordinate with escrow officers, underwriters, and loan processors to ensure smooth loan origination and servicing workflows


Qualifications

  • Must have an ACTIVE NMLS (multiple states a plus). States we are licensed in include CA, AZ, OR, TX, CO, FL, GA, NC, TN, MD, OH and IN.
  • 2 or more years of experience as a Customer Direct Loan Officer
  • Great follow-up skills
  • Familiar with Agency, Government and Non-QM loan guidelines
  • Proficiency with mortgage origination software Calyx Path or comparable LOS software; basic math skills required
  • Ability to pre-qualify homebuyer or homeowner based on lending guidelines
  • Excellent communication skills to explain mortgage options clearly to clients
